It's been a while since there has been an update, so I thought we should give you guys a kind of a technical update and some more art, sprite art to be specific.
(I know you can't see the text well, that's on purpose)
The flow chart above is an example of a system we're thinking of doing to make quests a little more interesting. Essentially giving you more options so it doesn't seem like it's just a "go here, ok, now go here, ok then go over there" kind of thing. Hopefully I don't kill myself trying to write enough text to support this, but it should be fine.
Another problem we're running into is the limitations of 2D and RPG Maker when it comes to stealth mechanics. We're not talking about an NPC seeing you and reacting to you, mostly talking about mechanics that won't make stealth seem incredibly boring and a chore to do. In a perfect world we would be implementing every Thief mechanic and slapping a whole bunch of H-Scenes into the game and it would be HGOTY every year. Sadly that's not technically capable in the 2D world. So, we're going to try and find a way to make stealth as fun as possible.
Here are some sprite sex that the artist is creating, hot stuff. He also wanted to say these aren't final, or in his words: "btw some sprite already fixed, those will not the result"
